Lottery warning for unclaimed $1m Mega Millions prize - winning ticket sold at grocery store as jack
A WHOPPING $1million Mega Millions prize remains up for grabs as it has not yet been claimed.
Gamblers have been urged to check their numbers after a winning lottery ticket was sold ahead of the November 21 draw.

New Jersey lotto officials revealed the ticket was sold at the Caba Grocery store in Perth Amboy – located around 20 miles from Newark.
The winning numbers from the draw were: 17, 22, 25, 30, and 38 and the Megaball was number 24, per Mega Millions.
One ticket holder matched five numbers, but it appears that no player has yet come forward to claim the sum.
The U.S. Sun has approached the New Jersey Lottery for comment.

No player won the most recent Mega Millions draw on December 1, meaning the jackpot has rolled over to an estimated $355 million.
But, three ticket holders from Massachusetts, New York, and Texas matched five numbers.
It costs just $2 to play the Mega Millions and prizes range from $2 to the jackpot amount.
To win a $1 million sum, players must defy the odds of one in 12.6 million.

The odds of winning the jackpot are one in 302.6 million. It’s supposedly trickier to win the Mega Millions than the Powerball.
Jackpot winners have two options when it comes to receiving their prize. They can either receive it in installments or as a lump sum.
If the winner takes the annuity, they will receive one check followed by 29 annual payments.
Each payment is five percent bigger than the previous amount.
But, those who take the lump sum will see their winnings hit by federal and potentially state taxes.
Lottery winnings are subject to a federal tax rate of 24 percent, but state tax rates differ across the US.
Florida, California, and Texas do not have state taxes on the lottery, but the rate is eight percent in New Jersey.
