Lady Gaga's dog walker shooting suspect 'on the loose after he's mistakenly released' as cops conduc

LADY Gaga's dog walker shooting suspect is “on the loose” after being “mistakenly released”, according to reports.

Cops in Los Angeles are now conducting “all out manhunt” to bring the suspect back to custody.

The man, who is accused of shooting Lady Gaga's dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was mistakenly released due to a “clerical error”, The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has confirmed in a statment.

Ryan suffered a collapsed lung after he was shot in the chest in February 2021 while walking Gaga's three French bulldogs.

The suspect was arrested along with two other documented gang members and charged with attempted murder and armed robbery.

The mistaken release occurred after the suspect attended court proceedings on Tuesday at Clara Shortridge Criminal Justice Center.

He was then let out the following day.

The Sheriff's Department statement said: "The investigation is continuing and the LASD Major Crimes Bureau is actively working to get Mr. Jackson back in custody."

Jackson was one of five suspects arrested in the shooting case in 2021.

According to PEOPLE, jail records do not show whether he has an attorney or entered pleas to the charges against him.

THE INCIDENT

In February 2021, Jackson and others were accused of shooting Fischer while he was out walking Gaga's three French bulldogs.

He and two other suspects are said to have fled the scene with the dogs, named Koji and Gustav, in a car.

The musician's dog walker was injured critically in the incident.

He suffered a collapsed lung as a result of the shooting.

Fischer reflected on his near-death experience in a social media post, writing: "In the hospital, my lung collapsed again despite the chest tube poking at my insides.

"And then it collapsed again. And again. It became quite clear that my lung was not healing, and the bullet wound had scarred my tissue like a burn."

He went on: "It could take months, if ever, for the hole to seal."

The pups were returned to police two days later and were not harmed.

Fischer's wallet was not stolen during the robbery, which led authorities to believe they were targeting him over the valuable dogs, not his personal items or money.

Not long after the shooting occurred, Gaga released a statement regarding the incident.

She called her dog walker a "hero" and begged fans for information about where her dogs might be.

SUPPORT SYSTEM

Fischer sat down with CBS' Gayle King for an interview on CBS Mornings.

He talked about the attack, what he thought motivated it, and Gaga.

The dog walker admitted: "I think they just saw a guy with three French bulldogs."

He went on: "The one thing I've noticed in L.A. while walking the dogs is people would say out of the cars, 'How much are those dogs worth?' Like, 'How much are they? Can I buy them?' And that part was always surprising – the viewing of the dogs as a commodity."

Of Gaga, he said: "She's helped me so much."

Fischer added: "She's been a friend for me and after I was attacked, my family was flown out and I had trauma therapists flown to me and I stayed at her house for months while friends comforted me and security was around me."
