He was also a former member of the Philippine National Team of basketball in the 1980s and 1990s. He also plays for the University of San Jose - Recoletos in Cebu City. He also worked at Ateneo de Manila for a while. He is the current head coach of Bataan Risers of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball Federation and the assistant coach of the NLEX Road Warriors at PBA.
